I took the left and upper border apart and added some dots and another border and now I like it a lot better.
I was sure the top was finished, but as I look at the photo there seems to be something missing in those green corner spaces ..

Wow! What a difference! I like this version too. Maybe in the green corners you could sort of continue the blue narrow band - but have it start in the real corner and curve out to the inner border.... or somehow add more of the sharp triangles?
