Hustling right along, getting caught up after a week of making sailboat stuff, not having quilty fun. I finished Step Two by doing a zigzag around all those crumby circles (what was I thinking when I made those?!!) and then adding crumby borders.Okay. Now for Step Three, color. OMG, I have so much color the only thing I can do is use a solid -- everything else made me cross-eyed. I do have more black but that looked too dull and not a "color." So searching through the stash, I found 4 colors with enough fabric for a wide border, all possibles. Which one do you like?

  1. I'm liking the greenish choice.

  2. I like the blue. It makes the black seem deep, and the circles makes me think of bubbles. Those cheerful colors, and all the palm trees... makes me think: Vacation!

  3. Yes, definitely the blue or the green. The blue was my immediate choice... made the colours sparkle and reminded me of blue skies and sea. But then, I like the contrast of the green and the way it brings out the purple. Depends on whether you want this round to integrate what you've done already or introduce something new. Maybe it's time to sit back and wait for the next set of instructions... It's looking good so far.

  6. Hmm - I like the pink, the blue or the green. Those colors to me bring out the colors in the parts you have already sewn. The pink might limit the use of the quilt though so I'm agreeing with the others on blue or green! : ) June
