Round Two Done

The blue idea went out of the window.  I didn't like the look of it.

I then found these squares which were sent to me by Marit at Quilt It, and fitted them together like a jigsaw puzzle.  Hence the slightly whacky, wonky look.

I'm not too sure where it's going to next, but I'm going to finish this round off with another black border and then perhaps orange, which will hopefully point me in the right direction for the next round.

  1. Very interesting squares Clare. I like that you used pieces you already had - and put them together like puzzle! So glad you are feeling well enough to play along! : ) June

  5. I really like the purple and orange that you've added Clare. Your squares will give the quilt a dancing feeling which is perfect for a liberated quilt.

  6. I agree, lots of movement in the square surround, almost pulsating to my eye. Love the floral fabrics too.
